Employment Opportunity at Korean International (Secondary) School

Korean International (Secondary) School in Hochiminh City is looking for 2 dedicated, professional, full-time English teachers(1 for English and 1 for Science and English).

1. You are expected to meet the following requirements:

① Native English speaker from one of the following countries (USA, UK, Australia, Canada, New

   Zealand, South Africa)

② BA or above of any field(3+ yr college degree)

③ TESOL/TEFL/CELTA certification(100+hr)

④ Prior teaching experience preferred

⑤ KIS in HCMC needs 2 secondary school English teachers

   -1 EFL(English as a Foreign Language) teacher

   -1 science-major teacher who can teach both science and EFL

2. Contract term: March 1st, 2017 ~ February 28th, 2018.

   (Contract renewal will be offered at the end of the year)

Job specifications:

① 21 periods (45mins/period) a week

② Base salary(monthly): $2,000 (will be paid in USD)

③  Qualification Incentives:

- Classroom based Master’s Degree (Education or English only): 100 USD

- Teacher’s Certificate from their home country (Relating to English Education or Education): 100 USD

④ Career Incentives: 2nd year(150 USD), 3rd year(300 USD), 4th year(450 USD)

⑤ Target students: Grade 7~12 (teaching various levels)

⑥ KISH provides residential visa, basic health insurance and regular check-up.

⑦ NETs can open after-school classes (during semester or vacation) and get paid separately.

※ Starting from March, 1st, 2017. (The first month will be a probationary period.)

※ The school provides $ 700 for the settlement allowance if you come from outside of Vietnam.

※ When the employee completes the contract, the school will pay half of one months salary(base salary+qualification Incentives+career Incentives).

  ② the original certificate(ie, teachers, TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, & anything equivalent to these)
